Age Concern Harrow is a charity, registration number 10625210. It is also a company limited by guarantee, company number 3227577, and is managed in accordance with its Memorandum and Articles of Association.

Age Concern Harrow is a member of the Age Concern federation.

Management Structure

Age Concern Harrow (ACH) is managed by a Board of Trustees who have legal responsibility for the general control and governance of Age Concern Harrow, including financial control. The Trustees are drawn from the local community, together with two nominees from Harrow Council and two from the Harrow Primary Care Trust.

The Trustees are responsible for ensuring that Age Concern Harrow complies with charity legislation, company law and Age Concern federation membership standards.

Day to day management is delegated to the Chief Executive of Age Concern Harrow, who employs staff to manage our range of projects and services.

Join the Board of Trustees

Members of Age Concern Harrow are welcome to stand for election to the Board of Trustees. Elections are held annually. Board members can also be co-opted.

Skills needed

You will be especially welcome if you have marketing, insurance, HR or financial skills, if you represent the interests of a minority ethnic community, or have the interests of older people at heart.
