If you are an elderly owner-occupier living in Harrow, you may be able to get help with the repair and improvement of your home. Staying Put is a home improvement agency run by the Harrow Council. Its aim is to help elderly people or people with disabilities who are having difficulties with their property by providing help and support with repairs, adaptations and improvement to their property. Age Concern Harrow provides a modestly priced Handyperson service.

Our handypersons carry out work inside the home.
No work will be taken on that will take longer than 4 hours to complete.

Accident Prevention Scheme

If you are aged 60+ and live in Harrow, Age Concern Harrow's Accident Prevention Scheme can provide:

A free safety check of your home, to assess the risk of trips and falls.
Some minor repairs to improve your safety.
