The website of Age Concern Harrow.
Working with and for the older people of Harrow.
Age Concern Harrow was founded in 1975 by Pauline Masterson-Smith, the
then Director of the Harrow Red Cross, and for quite a few years Age
Concern Harrow (ACH) worked out of the first floor offices of the Red
Cross Building in Sheepcote Road. In those early days there were no paid
staff. ACH's volunteers ran a home visiting service.

various short-term locations in Central Harrow before moving to the
Exchequer Building on the Civic Centre site in 1994. At that time, the
offices seemed palatial compared with their predecessors, but once again
we outgrew them and in March 2003 we moved to our current office on the
3rd floor of Premier House, 1 Canning Road Wealdstone. When we won the
contract for Patient and Public Involvement in Health in the following
year we were able to negotiate with the landlord to acquire the lease of
an adjacent office area.
