Please Gift Aid Your Subscription or Donation

If you make a Gift Aid declaration, all your subscriptions and donations will be worth an extra 28% to Age Concern Harrow (28p in every £1). That means that a donation of £25 will be worth an extra £7 in Gift Aid or a total of £32.

Since 6th April 2000, charities have been able to claim back 'tax relief' on donations made by UK taxpayers. This doesn't cost you anything, but is a payment made by the Inland Revenue direct to Age Concern Harrow. Central Government provides Gift Aid to assist the work of charities, whilst encouraging them to recruit supporters.

All you need to do is to confirm that you are a UK payer of income tax or capital gains tax. You need to pay enough tax to exceed what we will be claiming back in Gift Aid.

In effect, if you pay any income tax or capital gains tax, it is very likely that your donation (including subscriptions) will qualify for Gift Aid.

To enable us to claim Gift Aid please complete the appropriate Gift Aid section on our Donation forms.

Please notify us if your circumstances change and you cease to pay sufficient income tax or capital gains tax to allow us to reclaim Gift Aid on your donations.
