Taste of Harrow
As one of the most culturally diverse boroughs in Greater London,Harrow has an array of restaurants from many different origins.The Taste of Harrow event will give you the oppurtunity to sample many of those flavours-everyone attending will get the oppurtunity to have a gastronomic treat of the different culinary cultures of Harrow..
10 local restaurants have joined with Age Concern Harrow,Harrow Mencap,Middlesex assoiciation for Blind people to raise much needed funds for these three hardworking charities that help support local people where it matters.

Bike the Nile Following our successful Bike the Nile trip in October 2003, join us for a 400m cycle down the River Nile through some of the most amazing scenery in the world.

This is an awesome trek in fantastic mountainous country, lush cloud forest, green valleys and high passes with breathtaking views of snow capped Andean peaks. All in all, an incredible trek!

Sing-a-long with Johnny Franks and Raise Money for Age Concern Harrow
International entertainer Johnny Franks has added Age Concern Harrow to his list of chosen charities. Johnny sells a family sing-a-long CD of 38 medleys and for every CD he sells he donates a £1.00 to the buyers choice of charity. We have been fortunate enough to be added to his existing list of charities such as Great Ormond Street Hospital, British Heart Foundation and Breast Cancer Campaign.
Johnny has been an international entertainer since 1939, performing with and for numerous well-known stars such as Telly Savalas, Jerry Lewis, Dionne Warwick and many more.
Johnny has likened his voice to those of Bud Flanagan and Max Bygraves. The CD has medleys including: You are My Sunshine, Bye Bye Blackbird, Marie, Cabaret and Hello Dolly.
