Staff Fundraising

Fundraising at work is great fun - and can be a rewarding way of building staff morale! Why not try some of the following to raise funds at work?

Charity of the Year

Why not make Age Concern Harrow your company's charity of the year?

Company Donations

Contributions and donations enable us to fund many of our vital services to older people in Harrow.

If your company is interested in supporting our work we can tell you more about some of the specific projects you could help with or the work we are doing.

Payroll Giving

Payroll Giving is a simple but extremely effective way of regularly donating to charity through your monthly salary before tax. The Inland Revenue will also add 28% to the value of your donation. A monthly gift of just £5 would therefore be worth £6.40.

This may sound like a relatively small sum but it would mean a lot to Age Concern Harrow. If 20 people each donated this amount each month it would be worth an amazing £1,536 a year to us! Just think how many more older people we could support for this!

If you would like to make a regular donation to Age Concern Harrow through the payroll giving scheme, simply contact us on 020 8861 7984 and we will send you the appropriate form.

Gifts in Kind

Gift in Kind are donations made by individuals or companies which can either benefit older people or Age Concern Harrow.

Donations have come from an array of sources ranging from office suppliers to supermarkets. All the gifts we receive at Age Concern Harrow are put to good use. They are either used to assist our clients and members, or we will use them in the office, which in turn benefits the members. If we are unable to use them directly, they are used as raffle prizes, which in turn raises money for the charity.
